Vegas GuideBefore you goIf your not sure about anything Vegas related ask us, that’s what we are hear for!! info@vegasbaby.co.uk TippingNow we Brits are not the best at tipping it must be said. Only because we have a different culture in the UK. In Vegas, everyone excepts a tip and OK if you get bad service, then don’t but believe me the service in Vegas very rarely is anything but bang on. The following is just a guide:
Daytime in VegasHere are some of the best ways to spend your time during the day in Las Vegas. Stay HealthyDrink water, as much as you can especially during the day. Buy a lip balm for your lips, they will crack, trust me. Now if you also start getting noise bleeds, don’t panic, unless you get them every 15 minutes in which case check that your will is upto date!! Simply give your noise a good blow every morning and night. Hit the PoolLet’s face it you have woken up with a hangover, that’s if you have even been to sleep. So go and recharge your batteries and chill by the pool. Ok now you have chilled order a beer and chill a little more!! Encore, Caesar's Palace, Mandalay Bay, the Wynn, the Hard Rock, the Cosmo and the Palms have pool areas that are amazing. And amazing pickup spots, if you're hot and/or wealthy. Even though this is Vegas, you know Sin City, you still can only go topless in certain pools, well women anyway! In Vegas these pools are called "European bathing pools" Pools with topless areas:
Do something a bit fishy! The Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay is a giant aquarium. It costs just $16 and as the name suggest they have sharks!! Well worth a visit. Check out the white tigers and the dolphins at the Mirage. This is actually quite informative and I mean when was the last time you learnt something that you could call knowledge!! Please be aware no beer here but a great way to spend a few hours!! Experience Vegas' shady pastAt the Tropicana, the Las Vegas Mob Experience immerses visitors in the world of organized crime that was instrumental in the city's rise from a watering stop in the desert to a glittery super destination. GolfThis is the desert, so how do I get a game of golf, I hear you say!! Playing 18 holes won't be cheap, between $80 and $300 and you must book before you arrive in Vegas, to guarantee a tee time. Courses
Chill at the spaVegas has some of the best spas in the World and most hotels have one. All are very good and were yet to have a bad treatment!! GambleDays are ideal for low-budget gamblers. Most casinos lower their table minimums during the day. This means that blackjack tables at even the higher end casinos would lower their tables to $10 bucks per hand. Some even just $5. If you're downtown you may even get lucky and find a seat at one of the increasingly hard-to-find $3 tables. Nightime in VegasBabyYour in the desert, it can get chilly, even if you were sitting by the pool just 5 hours ago. So gents pack a jacket and ladies, its cardi time, oh who are we kidding we know you will still go out in that short, sexy dress!! In saying that, the only time you will probably be outside is when you waiting for a cab to go from A to B. Talking of cabs, it will take longer to get from one place to another in the evening. There is always traffic on the Strip at night and the lines for a taxi can look impossible at times but they soon get moving. If you can’t wait for a cab and you are late for that big reservation, take a limo, for between $50 and $80 you could go from anywhere to anywhere within the City. Now this is Vegas, so people have a drink or ten! So be aware that sometimes some people can’t handle a shandy. Keep your wits about you all the time and don’t be walking off the strip, even if some stranger does offer you that Rolex watch for $10!! ClubbingYou want to go to the best clubs in town, well get yourself on a VIP guestlist, as some of the lines to get in the clubs takes hours. VegasBaby can help you with all your clubbing needs. ShowsIf you haven’t booked your show with VegasBaby and your not after a specific show, try one of the discount ticket offices on the strip. They tend to sell tickets for the same day, so you won’t be able to hugely discounted tickets for advanced performances. Finally, common sense, use it!! Oh and have a great time!! |
